MOURI Tech is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable data architectures and transforming complex HR/People data into analytics-ready datasets. The role involves developing data pipelines, dimensional models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build scalable data pipelines and architectures
- Develop dimensional models in Snowflake using dbt
- Transform messy HR data into clean, self-service datasets
- Write efficient SQL and Python scripts to support analytics initiatives
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful business solutions
Skills
- 3+ years of Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering experience
- Expert-level Snowflake, SQL, and Python (including performance tuning and partitioning)
- Strong experience with dbt and dimensional data modeling
- Experience building data pipelines for BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Visier
- Mandatory experience working with HR/People Analytics data
- Scrappy, adaptable, and results-driven mindset with the ability to work through ambiguity
- Candidates within ±2 hours of Costa Rica's time zone are a plus
