As a fully remote employee, you will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, developing persuasive grant proposals, and managing relationships with foundations and corporate giving programs. Key Responsibilities Identify and research potential funding sources, including foundations, corporations, and government agencies. Write, edit, and submit compelling grant proposals, applications, and reports that align with Our client's mission and program goals. Develop and maintain a grant calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met. Cultivate and manage relationships with foundation program officers and other funding partners. Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for proposals and reports. Track grant awards, monitor grant expenditures, and ensure compliance with funder requirements. Develop and maintain a library of grant-related materials, including boilerplate text and supporting documents. Stay informed about trends and best practices in grant writing and philanthropic giving. Assist in the development of strategic fundraising plans. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding grant status and outcomes. Requirements Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Public Policy, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 4-6 years of proven experience in grant writing, preferably within the non-profit sector. Demonstrated success in securing grants from diverse funding sources. Exceptional writing, editing, and research skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Strong understanding of the grant lifecycle, from prospect research to reporting. Proficiency in research databases and grant application portals. Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines remotely. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. A strong passion for social services and community empowerment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with funders.
