They are seeking a Business Finance Analyst to provide data-driven analysis and support the Finance organization and Executive leadership, helping to make informed business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, deliver, and refine ad hoc analysis, financial models, and business cases to support a rapidly changing business environment
- Build in-depth analytics to challenge and support business decisions
- Utilize AI to support and substantiate analysis
- Provides financial analysis, forecast, and insights to aid in decision making and communicate financial results to business leaders and the finance management team
- In-depth analysis of sales and margin performances across segments, identifying market trends and understanding of margin components
- Support month end reporting needs to business leaders
- Forecast update / identifying items not visible in the numbers driving the forecast
- Prepare and deliver reporting to senior leadership and collaborate with departments outside of finance
Skills

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting or equivalent work experience
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft O365 (especially Excel)
- Microsoft Power BI experience and/or SQL knowledge a plus
- Wholesale / Distribution experience preferred but not required
- Practical experience using AI-enabled tools preferred but not required
- Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and modeling skills, comfortable combining multiple data sources, and identifying and improving processes
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for senior leaders
- Ability to work in both a collaborative team environment and independently
- Effectively self-manage schedule and competing priorities from multiple internal customers/projects with speed and accuracy
