The Endoluminal Sales Manager will be responsible for selling the ION Endoluminal System to hospitals in the Midwest, requiring strong solution selling skills and the ability to build relationships within healthcare institutions.
Responsibilities
- Manage the complex sales process of ION Endoluminal Systems into new hospitals
- Build clinical and administrative support through technical presentations, executive meetings, marketing events and system test drives
- Identify key institutions, generate market awareness, and drive sales of the ION Endoluminal System within an assigned sales territory
- Effectively manage transition of initial sale and installation to the clinical sales team to drive procedural volume and growth
- Extensive travel, approximately 70%
- Achieve quarterly sales targets
- Work with the Endoluminal Sales Director to develop a sales plan for the ESM’s local territory
- Build advocacy teams at each hospital
- Develop initial contact and relationship with CEO and senior hospital administrators
- Organize and manage the sales process
- Develop expert level knowledge of primary diagnostic bronchoscopy procedures
- Make business case for system purchase
- Resolve contractual issues and coordinate system installation upon purchase approval
- Handle all communications and administrative follow-up
Skills
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 5 years medical device sales experience
- Knowledge of the endoscopy/bronchoscopy/operating room environment
