The EHR Curriculum Designer will develop and maintain educational curriculum for electronic health record training programs, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Designs and updates EHR training curriculum, including manuals, job aids, and e-learning modules
- Partners with clinical and operational stakeholders to ensure curriculum reflects evidence-based workflows and organizational policies
- Collaborates with instructors to align training delivery with designed curriculum
- Maintains and updates content in learning dashboards and archives outdated materials
- Reviews survey results, user feedback, and efficiency data (e.g., Epic Signal, NEAT) to refine curriculum
- Applies adult learning and instructional design principles to training materials
- Ensures curriculum complies with Joint Commission and regulatory training requirements
- Develops communication plans for curriculum changes tied to system updates or new functionality
- Tracks curriculum versions and ensures training materials are current and consistent across platforms
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience
- Epic certification
- All experience must be paid and in the same related field
- Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week
- Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted
