The EHR Analyst Senior is responsible for advanced configuration, optimization, and support of clinical applications within the enterprise EHR, ensuring regulatory compliance while mentoring junior analysts.
Responsibilities
- Performs advanced design, configuration, and optimization of clinical application workflows
- Provides subject matter expertise in application build and workflow integration
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex application issues, conducting root cause analysis and solution design
- Develops and executes test plans for integrated and regression testing
- Collaborates with clinicians, governance groups, and IT teams to align enhancements with requirements
- Maintains detailed documentation of workflows, build standards, and testing results
- Monitors application performance and compliance with regulatory standards
- Mentors junior and intermediate analysts in technical skills and best practices
- Coordinates with vendors to support upgrades, releases, and integrations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Skills
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in a related field
- Epic certification
- All experience must be paid and in the same related field
- Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week
- Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted
