The Data Migration Specialist will be responsible for executing customer data migrations into the TraceGains platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Execute end-to-end data migrations including source analysis, schema mapping, data transformation, and validation across CSV, Excel, and XML formats
- Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate data mapping, transformation, and validation processes, improving efficiency and accuracy
- Write and execute custom SQL scripts to transform, clean, and prepare customer data for migration and ongoing data management
- Respond to basic customer API inquiries and perform first-level troubleshooting; escalate more complex issues to senior API specialists
- Provide backup support for setting up and configuring TraceGains workbooks, including field mapping and initial system configuration
- Investigate and resolve customer-reported issues related to data discrepancies, configuration errors, and platform behavior
- Assist with standard configuration setup for new customers by following established implementation processes and documentation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1–3 years of experience in data migration, data analysis, system configuration, or a related technical role
- Demonstrated ability to write and execute SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation
- Hands-on experience performing data migrations, including source-to-target mapping, data transformation, and validation
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., large datasets, VLOOKUP) and experience working with structured data formats such as CSV, Excel, and XML
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish is required
