Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. GovCIO is seeking a Data Analyst to support the Department of Veterans Affairs. The Data Analyst will be responsible for data monitoring and report management during VistA Pre and Post Cutover activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage data cutover preparations and monitoring cutover activities
- Gather and produce cutover status reports during pre and post cutover activities
- Leverage excellent writing skills to translate complicated issues to create a concise, and well-written narrative
- Develop and maintain summary data dashboards, workflow automation tools for executive and technical audiences
- Develop or provide feedback on clear and concise data communications products and materials for internal or external audiences
- Conduct research, analyze information needs, and perform analysis to support the delivery of report artifacts
- Track, forecast, and report on project progress including metrics and challenges
- Formulate responses for weekly executive report
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations Research and 5 years related work experience required
- 5 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Great interpersonal skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance/supervision
- Solid experience with Microsoft Office and other collaborative tools including Teams, Power Apps, Jira, Co-Pilot, ChatGPT/Claude etc
- Expert/Advanced skills in using MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerApps
- Must be organized, detail-oriented, and possess analytical skills
- Clearance Required: Ability to obtain/maintain VA Suitability/Public Trust clearance
- Experience supporting VA OIT, VA Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM) initiatives, Oracle Health (Cerner) implementation or sustainment efforts
- Experience participating in geographically dispersed teams in a remote environment
- Experience supporting large-scale healthcare modernization or digital transformation initiatives
- Experience with Share Point and Power Apps administration for supporting data dashboards and team communications across the enterprise
