They are seeking a Remote Data Analyst to leverage analytics technology to create, update, and analyze reports for various business units and processes, focusing on sales, marketing, and product analysis.
Responsibilities
- Update, maintain, and analyze all product management and merchandising reports and other department reports as needed
- Develop reports and dashboards using data visualization tools, such as Tableau, and data querying languages such as SQL and TSQL
- Triage, prioritize, manage, and resolve any data related requests and issues generated to the Product Management department
- Discover opportunities for improvement within reporting and product management department processes and act to provide further insight or improvements
- Consistently and reliably work with the IT department to maintain databases and keep data clean
- Become a liaison between product management requests and the IT department, making sure all requirements from an IT perspective are met
Skills
- 1+ year(s) of experience working with large data sets in MS SQL Server Environments
- BA/BS in IT, marketing, e-commerce, economics, mathematics, or other related degrees
- Excellent analytical skills: including being able to quality-assure, clean, and analyze large data sets in order to draw conclusions and develop recommendations
- Proficiency in MS SQL Server
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in Tableau
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- Oral and written communication, interpersonal skills
- Ability to quality-assure, clean, and analyze large data sets
- Understanding of e-commerce marketing channels
- Proficiency in Access a plus but not a requirement
