The role involves providing insights from data analysis to enhance business performance and user experience in mobile gaming.
Responsibilities
- Champion full circle data analysis; from hypotheses and queries, to analysis and recommendations, to implementation and testing, to reporting and optimizing
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to improve individual game and overall catalog performance
- Disseminate key insights to all members of the team in a way that is both digestible and engaging
- Build and maintain streamlined dashboards that bubble up the most relevant trends to stakeholders
- Own daily and quarterly revenue reports, keeping a close eye on trends and anomalies
- Compile health check reports for newly released games and live game updates
- Track the emergence of live errors and coordinate with team members to resolve in a timely manner
- Interface and collaborate with external partners on various business initiatives
- Actively seek out ways to optimize your own workflow and the business at large
Skills
- 4+ years of experience as a data analyst in the games industry or a comparable sector
- A background in statistics, economics, or other quantitative fields
- Data-driven approach to results with creative tendencies to problem solving
- Experience and agility with various analytics platforms and big data environments
- A balanced perspective of confidence/skepticism to data reports
- Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills across various interface mediums
- Commitment to providing context, clarity, and consistency across all deliverables
- A careful steward of the details
