They are seeking a Customer Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for customers, handling claims intake and documentation with professionalism and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls and provide professional customer service to customers, agents, and business partners
- Respond to customer service inquiries and claims-related questions. Receive and document First Notice of Loss (FNOL) reports using established procedures and scripts
- Complete ACORD and other required forms based on information provided by callers
- Accurately document customer interactions and claim details in company systems
- Review claim information for completeness and route documentation to the appropriate team for claim setup and processing
- Distribute claim-related communications and documentation via email as needed
- Escalate complex inquiries or issues to the appropriate department. Adhere to established quality, compliance, and service standards
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or call center experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with FNOL processes and ACORD forms
- Insurance industry experience
- Experience supporting customers in a high-volume call center environment
