LarraStaff Corp. is a dynamic growing company in the BioTech industry seeking a Corporate Accountant to join their corporate accounting group. The role involves managing general ledger accounts, assisting with financial statement preparation, and coordinating financial audits.
Responsibilities
- Posting, verifying, and reconciling general ledger accounts, reclassifications, pre-paid accounts, accounts payable and effectively managing daily cash balances
- Assist with the accurate management of fixed Assets
- Assist with compilation of data for preparation of financial statements, quarterly and annual tax reports, and regulatory reports
- Coordinate and prepare for financial audits, as required
- Prepare reports as needed and develop and implement procedures to streamline daily accounting activities
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or similar
- 2+ years of public experience or 4+ years of industry experience
- Advanced Excel and computer skills are required
- CPA desired, but not required
- ERP system experience a big plus
