The Faith Partnership Manager is responsible for developing strategic church partnerships, managing relationships with pastors and church leaders, and driving revenue growth within the faith sector.
Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a strategic growth plan to expand and strengthen the faith partnership portfolio in alignment with organizational priorities
• Proactively identify, cultivate, and secure new church and faith-based partners to achieve defined revenue and engagement targets
• Manage a defined portfolio of partners through intentional prospecting, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and renewal strategies
• Establish annual revenue and engagement goals, maintaining a healthy pipeline to support sustainable growth
• Conduct in-person and virtual meetings, presentations, and events to advance partnership conversations and close opportunities
• Monitor portfolio performance, forecast revenue, and adjust strategies to achieve or exceed targets
• Design and deliver a high-quality, personalized partner experience that deepens engagement, trust, and long-term commitment
• Build strong, ongoing relationships with pastors, ministry leaders, and church decision-makers through consistent communication and meaningful touchpoints
• Ensure partners receive timely impact reporting, updates, and engagement opportunities aligned with their interests and giving priorities
• Identify opportunities to increase partner involvement through campaigns, trips, sponsorship initiatives, advocacy efforts, and special projects
• Anticipate and address engagement risks proactively to strengthen retention and loyalty
• Collaborate internally to ensure a seamless and positive experience across all partner interactions
• Collaborate cross-functionally and with international teams to design meaningful exposure and learning opportunities aligned with FH’s mission
• Develop and implement a strategy to cultivate partnerships with Christian colleges, universities, and secondary schools
• Identify and pursue opportunities for institutional partnerships, student engagement programs, internships, campus campaigns, and educational collaborations
• Build relationships with campus leadership, faculty, chaplains, and student groups to position Food for the Hungry as a mission partner
• Create engagement pathways that connect students and academic communities to FH’s global programs and advocacy initiatives
• Evaluate and refine the campus engagement strategy to support long-term partnership and pipeline development
Skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Ministry, Theology, Nonprofit Management, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in church relations, faith-based fundraising, ministry leadership, or nonprofit partnership management
• Demonstrated success cultivating and growing strategic partnerships or revenue portfolios
• Experience presenting to church audiences or ministry leaders
• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or equivalent platforms
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Personal alignment with Christian faith and commitment to Food for the Hungry's mission
• Experience in international development or global relief contexts
• Pastoral, ministry, or theological training considered an asset
