They are seeking a motivated Business Analyst (Co-op) to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, translating complex data into actionable insights while gaining exposure to Agile team environments.
Responsibilities
- Gather and Document Requirements: Assist in capturing business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for the data and analytics teams
- Analyze Business Processes: Evaluate existing workflows to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, or better data integration
- Develop User Stories: Work within the Agile framework to draft user stories and acceptance criteria for upcoming development cycles
- Support Development Teams: Assist in the design of source to target maps (STTM) to help developers build
- Support Data Visualization: Assist in the design of Power BI dashboards that help business stakeholders track key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Help ensure that delivered technical solutions meet the original business requirements through rigorous testing and feedback loops
- Collaborate with Agile Teams: Engage in regular sprint meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution
- Run AI Agents: Leverage AI agents and provide feedback to train and refine the models output

Skills
- Current undergraduate or graduate student in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to simplify complex information
- Basic understanding of data concepts and an understanding of SQL
- Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork abilities
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
