They are seeking an Account Executive to drive the adoption of their safety solutions across school districts and educational institutions, acting as a trusted advisor to educate stakeholders on internet safety laws.
Responsibilities
- Drive District Adoption: Identify, prospect, and pitch the company's enterprise and educational safety suites to K-12 school districts, educational institutions, and aligned corporations
- Relationship Management: Build long-term, trust-based relationships with educational decision-makers (Superintendents, CTOs, and School Boards)
- Community Advocacy: Educate parent groups and community stakeholders on the company's free family resources, establishing a grassroots network that supports district-wide safety standards
- Manage the Sales Pipeline: Lead online demonstrations, articulate technical compliance concepts (like COPPA) in simple terms, and guide institutions from initial contact to contract signing
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work directly with the founding team to refine messaging, feedback loops from the field, and market approach
Skills
- Experienced in Institutional Sales: Proven track record selling directly to school districts, educational networks, or large-scale corporations. You know how to navigate the bureaucratic purchasing cycles of K-12 institutions
- Mission-Aligned Perspective: You are ideally a parent who understands the modern anxieties of raising children in a hyper-digital world
- Tech-Savvy & Independent: Comfortable utilizing remote collaboration tools (Zoom, CRM systems, Slack) and managing your own schedule autonomously
- Educator Background (A Major Plus): Prior experience as a teacher, principal, school administrator, or educational consultant gives you an authentic voice when speaking with schools
