Robert Half is seeking a skilled Fabric and Power BI Developer to support the design and delivery of executive-facing dashboards and reports. The role focuses on building reporting solutions from existing semantic data models within Microsoft Fabric, aiming to create polished dashboards that aid business decision-making.
Responsibilities
• Build dashboards, reports, and paginated reports in Power BI using semantic data models
• Develop reporting solutions within Microsoft Fabric
• Translate existing semantic models and defined business needs into meaningful reporting outputs
• Create complex dashboards that help leadership determine business direction and priorities
• Partner closely with the internal IT team and the Corporate Data Architect to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Support user acceptance testing and final delivery discussions with business stakeholders as needed
• Work within a highly structured data environment, with data sources and models already established in Fabric
• Leverage data from the Gold Layer of a Medallion architecture
Skills
• Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
• Experience building paginated reports
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Ability to work from semantic data models
• Experience creating complex, executive-level dashboards
• Strong understanding of data modeling and reporting best practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and architects
• Experience working within a Medallion architecture
• Familiarity with Gold Layer reporting environments
• Ability to improve upon or elevate existing reporting outputs
