Regional Senior Payroll Manager - Remote

We are partnering with a growing and stable organization seeking an experienced Payroll professional to oversee and optimize payroll operations for a large employee population. This is a high-impact role with visibility across HR, Finance, and leadership, offering the opportunity to drive process improvements and system enhancements. Must be able to work West Coast hours! Key Responsibilities: • Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for 400+ employees across multiple states • Ensure compliance with U.S. payroll regulations, tax requirements, and statutory reporting • Manage payroll reconciliations, audits, and reporting with a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness • Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and external vendors to support payroll operations • Lead system configuration, workflows, and integrations within payroll and HR systems • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and scalability Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree required • 5+ years of payroll experience in a mid-size to large organization (400+ employees preferred) • Strong knowledge of U.S. payroll laws, tax compliance, and reporting requirements • Hands-on experience with payroll systems and HRIS configuration (ADP Workforce Now and/or SAP a plus) • Experience with automation tools (Power Automate, RPA, API integrations, etc.) highly preferred • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Why Explore This Opportunity: • Hybrid work environment offering flexibility • Opportunity to lead and improve payroll processes in a growing organization • Collaborative team with strong leadership support
