Recruiting Coordinator (On-Demand) – JazzHR + Gusto Experience Required

We are a growing industrial services company seeking a reliable, detail-oriented **Recruiting Coordinator** to support our hiring process on an **as-needed basis**. Hiring volume fluctuates — some weeks there may be no activity, while other times we may have **3–4 open roles running simultaneously**. We are looking for someone who can step in, take ownership, and keep the process moving efficiently when needed. This is an **execution-focused role** (not strategy). --- • *Key Responsibilities:** • Post and manage job listings using JazzHR (including multi-job board distribution) • Review and screen incoming applicants • Conduct initial phone screens (15–20 minutes) to qualify candidates • Coordinate and schedule interviews with internal team members • Maintain organized candidate pipelines within JazzHR • Present top candidates to hiring managers --- • *Onboarding / HR Coordination:** • Initiate new hires in Gusto (send onboarding invites, ensure completion) • Coordinate onboarding steps across teams • Interface with internal IT to ensure new hires are properly set up, including: • Email and system access • Computer provisioning • Building / facility access • Track onboarding completion to ensure a smooth Day 1 experience --- • *Offboarding Support:** • Assist with employee offboarding in Gusto • Coordinate with IT to deactivate access and recover company equipment --- • *Requirements:** • Proven experience using JazzHR (or similar ATS) • Hands-on experience with Gusto onboarding/offboarding • Strong communication skills (comfortable conducting phone screens) • Highly organized and responsive • Ability to manage workflows independently and follow through --- • *Nice to Have:** • Experience hiring for industrial, field service, or technical roles • Familiarity with Indeed and LinkedIn job postings • Experience working with small business teams --- • *Engagement Details:** • On-demand / variable workload (no guaranteed weekly hours) • Work will fluctuate based on hiring needs • Must be responsive during active hiring periods • Preference for U.S.-based candidates in Central Time Zone • *To Apply:** Please include: 1.
