Brighter Day Services is a fast-growing Maryland-based field services company offering residential and commercial cleaning, landscaping, pressure washing, gutter cleaning, fence repair, snow removal, and more. We operate under Robinson & Co., LLC and serve clients across four Maryland regions. We're scaling quickly and need a driven, self-motivated recruiter to help us build our team from the ground up.
The Role
As a Contract Recruiter, you will own the full-cycle hiring process for Brighter Day Services — sourcing, screening, and securing top talent across our field technician and administrative roles. This is a commission-based contract position where your earnings are directly tied to your results. What You'll Do
Lead end-to-end recruitment for field technician roles (residential and commercial cleaners, multi-line service techs) and administrative contractor roles
Source candidates using platforms like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other relevant job boards
Conduct initial screening calls to assess candidate fit, availability, and reliability
Move qualified candidates through the hiring pipeline in our ATS (Breezy HR) and maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records
Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and the Lead Generalist Supervisor
Facilitate onboarding handoffs for hired candidates — ensuring they complete required contractor agreements and orientation materials
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for ongoing and future hiring needs
Support employer branding efforts through job posting copy, social media outreach, and community sourcing
Communicate hiring updates and pipeline status to the Lead Generalist Supervisor weekly
How You Get Paid
This is a commission-only 1099 contract role. You earn up to $75 per full-cycle hire paid across three milestones:
Milestone 1 — $25: Qualified candidate sourced and submitted for review
Milestone 2 — $25: Candidate passes interview and screening
Milestone 3 — $25: Candidate completes onboarding and their first job
No base pay. No guaranteed hours. Your earnings are 100% tied to your results.
Realistic Earnings:
10 hires/month → $750
20 hires/month → $1,500
32 hires (initial roster) → $2,400
Sprint and volume bonuses available for high-volume hiring periods.
What We're Looking For
Self-motivated and results-driven — you work independently and don't need micromanagement
Strong communication skills — you'll be engaging candidates daily via phone, email, and text
Organized and detail-oriented — maintaining accurate records in Breezy HR is non-negotiable
Comfortable with commission-only compensation and a performance-driven environment
Familiar with job boards like Indeed, ZipRecruiter, and LinkedIn for sourcing candidates
Able to follow company hiring workflows, screening criteria, and onboarding checklists
Prior experience in recruiting, sales, customer service, or HR is a plus — but not required, we train you

Work Structure
This is a 1099 independent contractor position — not W-2 employment
