Job Title: RCM PART B Billing Specialist
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part B Billing Specialist with experience in ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), PT (Physical Therapy), and OT (Occupational Therapy) billing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medicaid billing and experience using the InSync EMR system. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, compliance with billing regulations, and efficient communication with insurance providers and other stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Billing and Claims Management:
• Prepare and submit accurate claims for ABA, PT, and OT services under Part B guidelines.
• Verify patient eligibility, authorizations, and coverage details.
• Monitor and resolve billing errors, denials, and rejections promptly.
• Medicaid Billing:
• Ensure compliance with Medicaid billing requirements and procedures.
• Stay updated on state-specific Medicaid policies and regulations.
• EMR System Utilization:
• Efficiently navigate and utilize the InSync EMR system for billing and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of billing activities and patient information within the EMR.
• Communication and Coordination:
• Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to gather necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with insurance providers to follow up on claims and secure payments.
• Provide billing-related support to patients and families as needed.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Generate and review reports to ensure billing accuracy and identify trends in claim denials or delays.
• Maintain organized and compliant billing records for audits and reviews.
Qualifications:
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in billing for ABA, PT, and OT services.
• Proven experience with Medicaid billing processes and requirements.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency with the InSync EMR system or similar electronic medical records systems.
• Strong understanding of Part B billing practices.
• Knowledge:
• Familiarity with insurance authorization and claims submission processes.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
• Skills:
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in medical billing and coding.
• Prior experience working in a multidisciplinary therapy practice or clinic.
