We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and PSYPACT certified mental health professional to conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for individuals involved in personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will have experience with trauma-informed care and be comfortable preparing clear, concise, and clinically sound reports that may be used in legal proceedings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct mental health evaluations for clients referred due to personal injury (e.g., car accidents, workplace injuries, emotional distress).
• Administer clinical interviews and standardized assessments as appropriate.
• Identify symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related conditions.
• Prepare high-quality, timely written evaluation reports for attorneys, insurance companies, or courts.
• Collaborate with case managers, attorneys, or other professionals as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with legal, ethical, and professional standards.
• Conduct therapy sessions when appropriate/available.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted PYSPACT certification
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• Experience in psychological assessment or forensic evaluation preferred.
• Strong writing and diagnostic skills.
• Familiarity with DSM-5 diagnostic criteria.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Experience:
• Previous work with personal injury, forensic, or legal cases.
• Experience writing mental health reports for court or insurance use.
• Bilingual abilities a plus (especially Spanish).
