Zwicker is presently seeking a Production Attorney to join our team in Tempe AZ. The Production Attorney is responsible for supporting active litigation by reviewing, approving, and managing the flow of legal documents and case activity across a high-volume portfolio. This role requires strong legal judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining strict compliance with firm, client, and court requirements.
Responsibilities of Production Attorneys include:
Communicate effectively and appropriately with team members and firm management
Review and either sign/file or reject legal pleadings, papers, motions, defaults, garnishments, discovery, etc. in furtherance of active litigation files
Review litigation case files, dockets, and pleadings to determine appropriate action
Utilize internal proprietary software to properly update and document the status of each account in the assigned inventory
Work efficiently and meet or exceed production expectations
Comply with all client and firm standard operating procedures
Evaluate case merits, assess risk exposure, and provide strategic legal recommendations
Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and court procedures
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Admission to practice law in the state of Arizona
Multiple state bar licenses and/or the willingness to obtain additional bar licenses as requested by the firm - UT, CO, NM, Potentially WA, OR, ID, AK.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly motivated self-starter
Eagerness to learn
Ability to manage and prioritize a large caseload
Be able to communicate in a common language with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing
Be able to operate a computer, phone, or equivalent device
Be able to complete a minimum of a 40-hour flexible workweek schedule
Be able to read and comprehend position-specific documents and correspondence
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of litigation/trial experience
Working knowledge of civil procedure
Debt collection experience
Prior experience in a high-volume environment
Physical Qualifications:
· Be able to lift five pounds or greater
· Be able to sit 90% of the workday at times
· Be able to bend at the waist and be mobile when needed
· Be able to concentrate and use critical thinking
