Product Stewardship Specialist

As our new Product Stewardship Specialist, you will take ownership of our Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and regulatory labelling systems, acting as the in-house expert on hazard communication. You will ensure compliance with evolving regulations while adapting processes to meet the changing needs of the business across multiple regions.
You will support our customers and sales teams by responding to regulatory enquiries in a timely and professional manner, with a particular focus on EMEA and the Americas. Alongside this, you will lead initiatives to improve how regulatory information is communicated both internally and externally, including delivering training to strengthen understanding and best practice across the organisation.
Some of your key responsibilities:
Manage and optimise global SDS and regulatory labelling systems, including templates, upgrades, and user support
Maintain accurate product and raw material classifications in line with EMEA and Americas regulations, including transport requirements
Author and update Safety Data Sheets and labels, including for new products in the R&D pipeline
Ensure regulatory compliance by keeping documentation current, monitoring regulatory changes, and managing notifications and submissions
Act as a key point of contact for regulatory enquiries, supporting customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders across regions
What do I need to be successful in this role?
Proven experience in product stewardship or regulatory affairs, including SDS authoring and hazard classification
Solid understanding of chemical regulations such as REACH, CLP and GHS
Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage, analyse and interpret complex regulatory data
Advanced Excel and general IT skills, with confidence using data tools to generate insights and support decisions
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
