The Purchasing Intern helps the purchasing team by requesting quotes from suppliers, tracking orders, and keeping records organized. This role supports daily operations by making sure materials are ordered on time and information is accurate.
Key Responsibilities
Send requests for quotes (RFQs) to suppliers and confirm they received them
Track supplier responses and follow up when needed
Help create and process purchase orders
Communicate with suppliers about pricing, delivery times, and product details
Track orders and help ensure materials arrive on time
Provide updates on open orders to the team
Keep purchasing records and supplier information organized and up to date
Assist with collecting supplier documents and onboarding information
Qualifications
High school diploma required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Supply Chain & Logistics.

Organized and able to manage multiple tasks
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized
Basic problem-solving skills
Comfortable working with suppliers and internal teams
