Job Description:
• Drive sales of Cellanome’s platform within pharmaceutical and large biotech accounts.
• Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including discovery scientists, translational researchers, platform leads, and procurement teams.
• Identify opportunities where advanced single-cell analysis can accelerate drug discovery, target identification, and mechanism-of-action studies.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans for complex, multi-group pharma organizations.
• Deliver high-impact technical presentations, workshops, and on-site engagements tailored to pharma research applications.
• Navigate long sales cycles and multi-layered decision-making processes within large organizations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with field applications scientists, marketing, and product teams to support evaluations, pilots, and successful adoption.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends in cell biology, single-cell technologies, and drug discovery workflows.
• Accurately manage pipeline and customer interactions using CRM tools.
• Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% of working time away from work location, including overnight/weekend travel at times.
Requirements:
• Degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 5 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Within total work experience, 3+ years of sales, business development, or field applications, with a focus on cell biology.
• Strong understanding of drug discovery workflows and the role of cell biology in target discovery and validation.
• Familiarity with single-cell analysis, genomics, or high-dimensional biology platforms.
• Proven track record of closing complex, high-value deals and managing long sales cycles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both scientists and business leaders.
• Highly self-motivated with strong strategic thinking and territory/account management skills.
• Willingness to travel within assigned region.
• Valid passport and driver’s license.
