Palate Project is a U.S.-based company rethinking how Japanese sake reaches American consumers.
For decades, the category has been shaped by a complex supply chain that often limits selection, transparency, freshness, and pricing. Our mission is to build a more direct connection between breweries in Japan and drinkers in the United States.
Our team works directly with producers across Japan, sourcing sake and designing a supply chain focused on quality and freshness. One part of the project focuses on
• *nama sake (fresh, unpasteurized sake)**
, which requires strict cold handling and is rarely experienced in optimal condition in the current U.S. market.
We are building what we believe to be the first true direct-to-consumer sake platform in the United States.
