SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:
The Project Scheduler for Megawatt Construction will develop, maintain, and monitor detailed construction schedules for data hall fit-out projects, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery. This role requires a detail-oriented professional with experience in construction scheduling, particularly within mission-critical facilities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Schedule Development: Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6, incorporating all phases of the project lifecycle from design through commissioning.
• Critical Path Analysis: Perform critical path analysis to identify potential delays and develop mitigation strategies to keep the project on track.
• Resource & Cost Loading: Integrate resource and cost loading into schedules to ensure efficient allocation and utilization of resources.
• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, highlighting any deviations from the baseline schedule and recommending corrective actions.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution of project tasks.
• Risk Management: Identify potential scheduling risks and develop proactive strategies to mitigate them, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling documentation, ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address challenges and ensure project success.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6; experience with project management tools like Procore is a plus.
• Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all aspects of scheduling.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in construction scheduling, with at least 2 years in data center or mission-critical facility projects.
• Certifications: Project Scheduling Professional (PSP) certification by AACE or equivalent is preferred.
• Industry Experience: Experience in managing large-scale data hall fit-out projects, including colocation facilities and enterprise data centers.
• Employment History: Stable employment history with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
