AJD does work for one of Europe’s top tour operators, and our Chicago team will support the main hub in the Netherlands. If you're eager to help travelers plan their dream vacations with confidence, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
What you’ll do
As an Online Travel Agent you’ll be a key part of our customer support team, ensuring smooth and hassle-free bookings for travelers. Your role will include:
• Rectifying bookings: Handle incomplete reservations with ease - whether it’s a downed internet connection, missing confirmation emails, or incorrect details, you’ll get things back on track!
• Making changes: Modify flights or hotel reservations and manage partial cancellations, delivering accurate booking changes while ensuring pricing calculations are clear and precise.
• Booking support: Assist customers with changes and cancellations while offering top-notch service that leaves them excited about their upcoming travel plans.

What you bring
• An associate’s degree (or equivalent work experience);
• Passion for the travel industry or relevant industry experience;
• Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• A solution-oriented mindset with a love for tackling new challenges;
• Proficiency in administrative tasks and data entry;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Strong number skills, with a working knowledge of Excel;
• Eagerness to learn and grow.

Important notes
• This position requires in person training but is work from home
• Peak season availability: Time off is limited during peak travel periods (July/August and late December). If you have any planned vacations during these times, please let us know in your first interview.
