I’m looking for a long term VA to help with onboarding new clients and supporting existing ones for a small, service‑based marketing studio. We are two DFW, Texas moms who have worked together since 2019, and we are looking for someone to grow with us.
If you’re someone who’s skilled, detail‑oriented, and wants to be part of something a little bigger than task‑by‑task freelancing, this role is designed for you. It will only be about 5-10 hours a week to start, so we absolutely expect that even as your hours grow, you will continue to work with clients of your own, but maybe at some point feel like you have a nice home base with room to learn and grow, with us.
You’ll get clear processes, steady work, and the chance to learn how a small agency operates behind the scenes. You don’t need to be loud or “high‑energy” — just reliable, thoughtful, and proud of the work you do.
This is not an entertainment content creator role. You won’t be making viral videos or spending hours designing from scratch. My clients are service providers, so the work is about repurposing the content they already have and using it in smart, efficient ways.
What You’ll Be Doing
Helping onboard new clients by gathering info, organizing assets, and keeping everything clear and easy to follow
Light email communication with clients through a shared email system (warm, friendly, and professional)
Working in Canva with above‑basic skills
Resizing graphics correctly
Adjusting cover photos to the right dimensions
Reworking client‑provided content into new formats
Following our proven design processes so graphics don’t take an hour each — we work efficiently and can create a full month of graphics quickly
Supporting content tasks with a solid understanding of SEO basics (you do not need to be an SEO expert, but have a basic understanding of the purpose of doing things to benefit SEO - if you have that we can teach you anything else about it)
Knowing why certain keywords matter
Understanding why we hyperlink specific pages
Adding geographic or service‑based wording to help content get found
Recognizing the difference between filler content and intentional copy
Repurposing limited client content in creative, useful ways
Troubleshooting simple issues
Setting up new platforms
Using AI tools to learn how to do something you haven’t done before
Asking quick questions when something is unclear — no guessing - and not being afraid to shoot over a hangouts message or call
You’ll Love This Role If You......
Have fun Canva skills and enjoy working efficiently
Like clear processes that help you work faster
Want to understand how a small agency operates
Want to grow beyond “just tasks” and be part of a team (even as you continue working with your own clients)
Communicate kindly and clearly
Feel proud when things are organized and running smoothly
Enjoy being the person who quietly makes everything easier
Want a long‑term, steady working relationship
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience supporting freelancers, small agencies, or are a freelancer yourself that enjoyes the process of the work more than the selling and keeping up with clients' needs
Familiarity with social scheduling tools
Light copywriting or editing skills
Ability to spot small details and fix them without being asked
Hours & Commitment
Part‑time, long‑term. Workload varies but stays consistent. I value clarity, kindness, and people who take pride in doing things well.
