Full-Time Homecare Occupational Therapist

• Working hours are primarily Monday–Friday, generally 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some schedule flexibility
• Minimal weekend and holiday rotations

What You Will Do
• Manage a caseload of patients requiring home-based therapy, primarily post-acute or subacute, in their homes
Responsibilities
• Promote and provide Occupational Therapy services in the home to help patients achieve optimal functioning
• Evaluate and treat individuals with functional deficits due to neurologic, orthopedic, and medical conditions
• Teach patients and caregivers to become independent with treatments and self-management of chronic illnesses
• Coordinate an interdisciplinary plan of care with nursing, physical/occupational/speech therapists, medical social workers, aides, and dieticians
What You Will Need
• NYS Occupational Therapist Licensure
• 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required
• Home care experience preferred but not required
• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided

Pay Range: $35.85 - $45.96. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may vary within the stated range based on location.
