Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator / Network Engineer to support a large-scale government network modernization program. The role involves design, implementation, and support of enterprise LAN/WAN/WLAN and SD-WAN environments across multiple global sites.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Cisco networking technologies, network troubleshooting, and infrastructure upgrades in complex enterprise environments.
Required Skills
• 7.5+ years of Network Administration / Engineering experience
• Strong experience in LAN, WAN, WLAN environments
• Hands-on with Cisco Routing & Switching
• Experience with SD-WAN and Software Defined Access (SDA)
• Network monitoring tools (Cisco Prime / SolarWinds)
• IOS upgrades, patching, and vulnerability remediation
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Static Routing
• Switch, router, and wireless device configuration
• Incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Network documentation and change management experience
Responsibilities
• Manage and support enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/WLAN)
• Configure and deploy routers, switches, and wireless devices
• Support SD-WAN and SDA implementations
• Perform IOS upgrades and security patching
• Monitor network performance and resolve issues
• Coordinate network changes, cutovers, and deployments
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and technical reports
• Work with vendors and cross-functional teams to resolve issues
