Merchandiser/Order Writer

Job Description: • Represent Mondelēz: in-store with professionalism, positivity, and a commitment to excellence as you are the face of these iconic brands/owners of the biscuit aisle. • Serve as the face of the company: delivering outstanding customer service to both store teams and shoppers • Execute daily: store visits following Mondelēz’ Direct Store Delivery (DSD) Merchandising Excellence, including capturing display photos, via digital merchandising initiative (DMI) • Build and maintain: strong relationships with store personnel, such as backroom receivers and store managers, to support execution and visibility of our brands • Order product: via iPad to maintain in-stock conditions for both shelf and display using Salesforce • Implement promotional displays: and ensure compliance with your Retail Territory Manager (RTM)-negotiated plans with the stores • Follow daily schedules: and priorities set by your RTM for efficient coverage among your retail team and colleagues • Support seasonal sales: new product launches, and high visibility merchandising events • Communicate store-level insights, issues, or opportunities to your RTM and management team • Stay Safe & Compliant: embracing the physical nature of the role – including lifting, bending, and moving product through a snack-powered hustle Requirements: • Be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license issued by the state in which the person resides. • High School Diploma or GED preferred; or can earn your GED while gaining the skills! • 1-3 years of experience in retail or consumer goods preferred • Someone with a positive and professional attitude who is self-motivated and can work independently. • Ability to drive your personal vehicle with valid insurance coverage to a variety of store locations (mileage will be reimbursed). • Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and to meet the defined physical activities like repetitive lifting, bending, and carrying up to 25 lbs. • Occasionally, pushing and pulling over 50 lbs. This includes physically moving our products from the stockroom to store floor and stocking the store’s shelves. • Live within 25-35 miles range from the primary location: Washington D.C. • Schedule availability required: Monday to Friday.
