Our national medical billing company is looking for an experienced, energetic, and organized Medical Billing Specialist and a Medical Billing Assistant, located in Washington state, to join our growing team.
Experience with Advanced MD preferred
Cardiology, Vascular, Orthopedics, or Pediatrics Billing Experience a PLUS+
Primary Duties:
• Accounts Receivable follow-up:
• audit accounts
• file appeals
• work correspondence, denials, and zero pay EOBs
• re-submit claims call carriers and patients
• Analyze claims and statements for accuracy
• Communicate professionally with client offices, staff, patients, co-workers, and the Management Team
• Document conversations and actions taken on accounts consistently and accurately
• Gather data and submit reports as requested by the Management Team
• Follow company protocols and comply with Federal, State, and payer regulations & guidelines
• Understand and meet current medical accounts receivable/billing regulations and compliance requirements
Requirements:
• 2+ years experience working in the Medical Billing field-ASC experience a Plus
• Exceptional Customer Service and Telephone skills
• Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls and correspondence
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Quality work product output
• Experience with practice management and EHR software
• Adept with computers, scanners and VoIP phones
