As a Teleradiologist, you will play a vital role in interpreting medical imaging studies and providing timely reports that contribute to patient care and treatment plans. Your expertise will help bridge the gap in healthcare delivery, ensuring that patients receive accurate diagnoses regardless of their location.
Responsibilities
Interpret radiological images and provide comprehensive reports
Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and recommendations
Ensure timely turnaround of imaging studies
Maintain high standards of medical documentation and record-keeping
Stay current with advancements in radiology and teleradiology practices
Adhere to legal and ethical standards of medical practice
Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
MD degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Radiology
1-3 years of experience in radiology, with a focus on teleradiology preferred
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using radiology software and imaging technology
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Current medical license to practice in the relevant state
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 3 hours per day
No call requirement
Setting: Remote
Daily Volume: ~100 overreads (25-30 ultrasounds, remaining are plain film)
Must be board-certified
