This full-time, on-site position offers a remarkable opportunity to contribute to patient care and diagnostic services within a collaborative healthcare environment.
As a Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in interpreting medical images, providing accurate diagnoses, and collaborating with healthcare teams to enhance patient outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding treatment plans and ensuring the highest standard of care.
Responsibilities
Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs
Collaborate with referring physicians to discuss findings and recommend further testing or treatment
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care
Maintain accurate and timely medical records
Provide mentorship and training to junior medical staff and radiology residents
Stay updated on advancements in radiology techniques and technologies
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in imaging practices
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Completion of a residency in Radiology
Active medical license in the state of practice
Strong proficiency in interpreting a variety of imaging modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Commitment to continuous professional development and education
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is preferred
Flexible scheduling options
Monday-Friday (8a-5p) + 1:4 weekend call rotation (8a-5p)
7 on/7off (8a-5p)
Setting: Remote or onsite
Cases: ~50% neuro, remaining is mixed (mammo or NM preferred)
Procedures: Breast biopsies preferred, not required
EMR: Epic
PACS: Merge
Dictation: Powerscribe
Must be board-certified or board-eligible
