Luxury Travel & Hospitality Digital Marketing Executive

Modern Currency PR, an award-winning luxury travel & hospitality PR and digital agency specializing in bespoke PR and digital marketing campaigns for the world's most renowned hospitality brands is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join the agency's growing Digital Studio. Although this is a remote position, all candidates must be based in Los Angeles. The Digital Marketing Executive must have an innate hunger & passion for all things travel & hospitality (food, travel, etc.), and a strong handle on the latest and greatest social media disciplines. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, creative, and possess a willingness to deploy a scrappy and proactive approach to driving digital campaigns for the agency’s award-winning luxury travel & hospitality clients. The Digital Marketing Executive must possess at least 3-5 years of direct experience in social media strategy/management , with a true go-getter mentality. This position will co-exist with our PR campaigns, supporting collaborative digital opportunities for clients alongside a team of seasoned senior-level media industry professionals within an engaging boutique agency environment. Duties and Responsibilities, include but are not limited to : You will be expected to use your own independent judgment and discretion in performing the following anticipated duties: Client Service Responsibilities • Support MCPR Digital Strategy as part of the Digital Studio Division, influencer vetting, on-site photo shoots, and social media direction for relevant clients alongside the agency’s social platforms (IG, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) • Service 4 – 5 top-tier client digital & social media accounts including MCPR Digital/Social; will report to Digital Marketing Manager & agency President • Contribute to developing and ideating creative social media & digital ideas for client social plans, agendas, quarterly audits, and EOY Digital Recaps • Develop a cadence, style, and strategy for each client to ensure follower growth, posting consistency, optimal engagement, and accessibility • Visit local clients on a bi-monthly or monthly basis to create fresh on-trend photo/video content • Assist in staffing on-property and in-studio shoots with digital & social media clients for the agency • Build targeted social media & influencer and social media editor distribution lists and actively pitch, liaise, and engage on behalf of social media clients to secure meaningful, consistent, and goal-oriented results • Social Media monitoring and reporting for client-related social media coverage; draft merchandising emails to share digital results with clients on a real-time basis • Develop administrative social media documents, including adding Digital discussion points to bi-weekly and monthly meeting/call agendas, quarterly PR/Social Plans, weekly and monthly client activity reports • Participate in bi-weekly and monthly agenda meetings/calls • Familiarity with digital and social media software and platforms including Later.com, Canva, Influencity, SharePoint, CapCut, Temply, etc. • Responsible for reactive vetting & providing POV for influx of influencer requests on a daily basis for a variety of digital clients • Maintain & set parameters for on-brand and mutually beneficial social media editor & influencer visits, trips & partnerships • Consistently engage with followers across the various platforms and respond to messages/inquiries in a timely manner and facilitate social media influencer request/visits and conduct proactive outreach to influencers or partners who are on-brand and can help organically raise awareness • Create monthly Digital Reports for each Digital Client showcasing growth, engagement, and analyzing trends • Update and upkeep client folders on the server • Support the onboarding and training of new Digital Interns, ensuring effective workflows and collaboration (quarterly) Qualifications • 3-5 years of social media experience in hospitality and/or travel, preferably in an agency setting • Based in sunny Los Angeles, California + ability to thrive in a remote working situation • Ability to travel for client needs; must have personal transportation • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite & Canva, Later, CapCut, Temply etc. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills alongside excellent grammar and proofreading skills, including an in-depth knowledge of AP Style • Excellent interpersonal skills • Excellent organizational skills • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timel
