Job Summary
Clinical therapist will provide outpatient therapy to patients of Mercy Counseling Services. Clinical therapy services include treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. We are currently looking for therapists who would love to mix their counseling skills with their Christian Biblical values.
Mercy Counseling Services: Founded in September 2019, Mercy Counseling Services started serving clients in person out of a church space. We started with one clinician and one client. Today, we serve many clients with several incredible clinicians. Our mission is to transform hearts and minds through Jesus Christ and clinically based, biblically supported approaches. Duties
• Perform remote clinical counseling services to patients of Mercy Counseling Services, as scheduled, and in accordance with company policies.
• Regular and reliable attendance and timely arrival to work is required.
• Be properly licensed and abide by all laws, rules, regulations, and codes of ethics that are binding upon or applicable to the services performed for Mercy Counseling Services.
• Respond to patients’ requests for service or calls within 24 hours whether such requests are made in person, by phone, voicemail, etc. Respond to such requests by meeting, evaluating, and providing services to such patients.
• Communicate with a patient’s treatment team (i.e., PCP, psychiatrist, school, etc.) as necessary.
• Timely complete written records for each patent including, but not limited to: intake notes, progress notes, treatment plans, termination notes, contract notes, and other forms or documents which may be needed or required from time-to-time by Mercy Counseling Services or third parties in conjunction with the treatment of the patent within a timely fashion (by Friday of each week). Keep patent files accurate and up to date.
• Attend mandatory staff meetings and training as directed by Mercy Counseling Services.
• Conduct and provide counseling services in a professional manner so as to maintain and increase the good will and reputation of Mercy Counseling Services. Be respectful of and cooperative and collaborative with co-workers.
• Passion for working with others
Qualifications
• Valid licensure as an LMHC or LICSW with appropriate state credentials
• We are also looking for master's level
• Proven experience in psychotherapy, clinical counseling, and mental health assessment
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to handle crisis situations with professionalism and empathy

Pay: $40.00 - $57.00 per hour
