Position Overview
K Altman Law seeks a highly motivated entry-level attorney or law school graduate to join its litigation team. The canidate will work remotely and under the direct supervision of the Lead Litigator and the Managing Attorney of the firm.
The primary responsibility of this role is legal research and drafting, with a particular emphasis on constitutional law briefing. The ideal candidate will be capable of producing high-quality written work when provided with specific direction and will demonstrate strong analytical and writing skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct legal research on constitutional law and related litigation issues.
• Draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related documents with particular emphasis on constitutional arguments.
• Revise and refine legal drafts based on feedback from supervising attorneys.
• Assist with case preparation, including review of records, pleadings, and legal authorities.
• Support the litigation team in ongoing and anticipated matters as assigned.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Demonstrated coursework, clinical experience, or strong interest in constitutional law.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and incorporate substantive feedback.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
• Law review, journal, or substantial legal writing experience.
• Moot court or appellate advocacy experience.
• Familiarity with federal court practice and briefing standards.
• Recently licensed attorney or candidate who has recently taken a bar examination (pending results acceptable).
Supervision and Reporting
This position reports directly to the Lead Litigator and Managing Attorney and involves close mentorship and supervision.
Compensation and Benefits
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Benefits information will be provided during the interview process.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
