Job Description:
• Provide over the phone and video remote consecutive interpretation services in a variety of settings, including medical, emergency, legal, social, and customer service environments.
• Accurately and effectively convey messages between speakers of Armenian and English.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Research and prepare to ensure a thorough understanding.
• Remain culturally sensitive and aware.
• Be punctual, professional, and reliable.
• Familiarize yourself with our company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• Excellent bilingual communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle stressful or emotional situations in a professional manner.
• Outstanding listening, retention and note-taking skills.
• Previous Interpretation experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with medical, legal, and business terminology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proficient understanding of cultural sensitivity, and ability to collaborate with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
