This role provides subject-matter expertise in Mexican labor law, international labor standards, and enforcement mechanisms related to trade obligations.The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish, possesses strong analytical and policy-writing capabilities, and demonstrates expertise in labor rights, stakeholder engagement, and cross-border regulatory frameworks.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide expert analysis of Mexican labor law, labor reforms, and institutional frameworksSupport monitoring, evaluation, and enforcement activities under USMCA labor provisionsConduct policy research and prepare briefing materials, reports, and recommendations for senior leadershipAssess labor rights risks, compliance gaps, and remediation strategiesCoordinate with interagency partners, including trade, labor, and diplomatic stakeholdersEngage with Mexican government entities, worker organizations, and civil society groupsSupport the development of policy guidance and technical assistance initiativesTrack developments related to collective bargaining, freedom of association, and forced laborRequired QualificationsJuris Doctor or Master's degree in Labor Relations, Law, Public Policy, International Affairs, or related fieldProfessional fluency in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)Demonstrated experience with labor rights, labor law, or international labor standardsKnowledge of USMCA labor mechanisms or international trade-labor frameworksStrong analytical, writing, and policy development skillsExperience preparing executive-level briefings or reportsAbility to work in a fast-paced, interagency environment Aalis Management Consulting is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
