Intern, Internal Audit & Corporate Finance
Location: Remote

SS&C is seeking a motivated Internal Audit intern who is ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern will assist in report writing, conducting research, analyzing data. This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in accounting or a related field. This internship will report to the Corporate Finance Department and will provide administrative and project assistance to audit team.

What You Will Get To Do:
Provides temporary or seasonal assistance to a department or group within the company to work through a time-bound project or business cycle such as tax season
- Assist on SOX404 projects: updating process descriptions & process walkthroughs, & performing transactional testing
- Assist on audit related projects during audit planning and fieldwork phases of the audit
- Learning Internal Audit-based procedures and assisting Audit Managers with compiling/completing testing documentation and corrective action plan tracking
Demonstrates acquired knowledge and skills to resolve or recommend solutions for a wide range of tasks or issues
What You Will Bring:
Working toward a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
Some internship or professional experience in accounting/audit
