JOB SUMMARY
Perform activities associated with Information Technology’s ERP system; business process architecture/design, and technology adoption of our customer’s business systems; and support of our customer’s ERP/IFS systems. Participate and occasionally lead sub-pieces of our customer’s global implementation of IFS applications by providing necessary business process consulting, training, SOPs, documentation, and applications consulting to ensure success in using IFS Applications as a tool to improve overall business performance. The employee is the ERP/IFS business and technical Subject Matter Expert in cost and corporate accounting areas. This person is expected to be being available and on-call 24X7 in support of IT’s ERP technology solutions globally.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following:
- Participate in our customer’s ERP solutions implementation in all business areas including Information Technology globally.
- Our customer’s IFS System Experts in Accounting (cost and corporate)
- Support for our customer’s IFS Security Admin focused on minimizing Segregation of Duties conflicts as part of JSOX in IFS
- Subject Matter Expert in Accounting and other related areas including IFS business process design, IFS technology adoption, and IFS integration.
- Subject matter expert on business analysis, data analytics, financial consolidations, Manufacturing, and Accounting
- Subject matter expert in “IFS Projects”, “IFS Project Accounting” and other related items
- Works with management to prevent or remove obstacles that inhibit the delivery of quality products and services.
- Additional responsibilities and duties may be assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: Minimal requirements for education, knowledge and experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, BCS or related degree or equivalent experience
- +4 years relevant experience including hands on experience as IFS user in Accounting
• CPA a plus
- +2 years in implementing, supporting, and maintaining IFS ERP solutions in an accounting capacity
PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS: This position requires the ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities in the following environment:
• USA domestic travel up to 40%.
- Work schedule generally consists of 40 hours per week or more, which may include being available to support global operations and on-call, evenings, and/or weekends.
- Able to lift computer equipment, monitors, and servers.
