Position Overview
The HR Generalist supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department by owning key HR operational programs and delivering an exceptional employee and contractor experience. This role serves as the primary administrator for the independent contractor workforce, HR service delivery, employee communications, compliance administration, and assigned HR projects while providing operational support across the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
HR Operations & Contractor Lifecycle
Own the end-to-end HR administration of the 1099 contractor workforce.
Coordinate contractor onboarding and offboarding activities.
Process contractor HRIS transactions and maintain accurate contractor records.
Serve as the primary HR Operations contact for contractor administrative questions.
Partner with Recruiting, Credentialing, IT, Payroll, and Operations to ensure a seamless contractor experience.
Monitor contractor lifecycle activities and ensure timely completion of required tasks.
HR Service Delivery
Own the HR ticketing system by triaging requests, resolving routine inquiries, and routing complex matters to the appropriate HR team member.
Provide timely, high-quality support to employees and managers.
Identify recurring employee questions and recommend process improvements.
Serve as backup support for W-2 onboarding and other HR Operations activities as needed.
Employee Communications & Engagement
Own the HR intranet, ensuring HR resources and content remain current.
Develop and publish the company newsletter.
Coordinate employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
Support HR communications related to new programs, policy updates, and organizational initiatives.
Compliance Administration
Coordinate company policy rollouts and acknowledgements.
Track completion of required policy acknowledgements and annual compliance requirements.
Monitor and report on compliance-related metrics and follow up with leaders as needed.
Manage recurring HR compliance processes, including timecard exception tracking and reporting.
Support HR audits, documentation reviews, and compliance initiatives.
Assist with implementation and administration of compliance-related programs.
HR Projects & Continuous Improvement
Coordinate assigned HR projects from planning through implementation.
Support HR technology enhancements and workflow automation.
Develop and maintain HR process documentation and standard operating procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
Assist with reporting and operational metrics as assigned.
Other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2-4 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Experience working with an HRIS, Paycor preferred.
Strong organizational, project coordination, and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
The anticipated salary range for this role is $75K- $85K. This remote position follows a location-based compensation structure. The posted salary range represents the potential pay range across various U.S. geographic markets. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s primary work location, experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws
