About The Role We are seeking a skilled Developer to join our dynamic team at RealPage, Inc. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced applications that address real-world challenges within the PropTech domain.
Your primary responsibilities will include implementing sophisticated models and algorithms, integrating them seamlessly into our existing products, and ensuring their scalability and robustness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product managers, designers, and engineers—to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our platform's capabilities. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4+ years of solid experience in service development, with a strong foundation in modern web technologies and frameworks. Essential skills include expertise in PHP, Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, and CSS3.
Candidates should have substantial experience in defining, creating, and consuming SOAP and RESTful web services, particularly in customer-facing applications. Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, Docker, and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure are highly desirable. Familiarity with Laravel framework, event-driven programming, and experience with ElasticSearch will be considered an advantage.
Additionally, candidates should demonstrate mentorship capabilities, a solid understanding of authentication and authorization techniques, and a commitment to writing clean, well-documented code.
Experience in building scalable, high-availability platforms and proficiency in unit testing are also important. Exposure to UI development using JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS, or VueJS will be beneficial.
Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include translating technical architecture documents and design approaches into efficient, maintainable code. You will lead analysis, design, and implementation planning for technical and business solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals.

You will evaluate and select appropriate tools and technologies, applying your knowledge to solve complex problems that require in-depth analysis. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop and integrate models and algorithms into our products, ensuring they scale effectively and meet performance standards.
You will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and handover processes, maintaining high coding standards and best practices. Additionally, you may be involved in mentoring junior team members, contributing to open-source projects, and staying updated with emerging technologies to recommend improvements.
