FinnlySport is a fast-growing recreation management SaaS platform serving ice arenas, sportsplexes, and park & rec facilities across North America. With ~300 customers and a product suite spanning facility management, registrations, memberships, POS, league scheduling, digital displays, and our FinnlyConnect mobile app, we're building the infrastructure that powers complex recreation facilities.
This is a new role, created specifically to embed AI deeply into our product and operations. You'll work across the full stack, spanning databases, REST API development, and AI-powered features inside the FinnlySport product, reporting directly to the CTO. If you want ownership, breadth, and the chance to define how AI gets built at a product-led SaaS company, this is it.
What You'll Do
• Build AI-powered product features: from conceptualization through production: intelligent scheduling, automated reporting, natural language facility search, and predictive revenue tools for our operator customers.
• Own REST API design and integrations: architect and maintain clean, well-documented APIs and third-party connections with payment processors, scheduling platforms, and other tools in our customers' stacks.
• Own database architecture and performance: design schemas, write complex queries, optimize performance, and maintain data integrity across our SQL Server environment as we scale.
• Develop and maintain internal AI workflows: including Claude-based automations that improve speed and quality across our sales, support, and operations teams.
• Evaluate and implement LLM tooling: stay current with the fast-moving AI landscape and make pragmatic recommendations on what to build vs. buy.
• Collaborate with the CTO and product team: on architecture decisions and roadmap priorities. This role has real input into what gets built.
• Write clean, production-grade C# and Blazor code: with an eye toward maintainability as we scale. Our stack is Microsoft throughout: Blazor, C#, and SQL Server.
• Other relevant projects to enhance our product
