Practice Frame is an MSO-style operating partner for healthcare and wellness businesses.
In plain English, we help practice owners clean up and run the non-clinical side of their business. That can include operations, intake, billing workflows, insurance processes, systems, reporting, team handoffs, vendor coordination, and growth support.
We work with multiple clients, but this role would start by staffing you on one active client project. If it is a good fit, there is room to continue across additional Practice Frame projects over time.
We are looking for a fractional management consultant who can step into messy business problems, understand what is actually happening, and help turn that into a clear plan and useful execution.
The First Project
The first project is with a healthcare/wellness business that needs help cleaning up its insurance and reimbursement workflow.
That means understanding how clients move through the process, how insurance is checked, how claims are tracked, where money is delayed, who owns each step, and what systems or processes need to be improved.
You do not need to be a clinical expert. This is business operations work.
What You’ll Help With
You may help us:
review how a client’s current process works
join client working sessions
ask good questions and identify what is breaking
organize notes, findings, and next steps
build simple trackers, workflows, SOPs, and operating plans
help turn strategy into implementation
support client follow-up and internal project management
help Practice Frame build a repeatable operating model across clients
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal person has consulting-level thinking with operator instincts.
You may have a background in:
management consulting
business operations
healthcare or wellness operations
practice operations
billing or insurance operations
implementation consulting
startup operations
fractional operations consulting
You should be able to:
understand messy workflows quickly
ask sharp, practical questions
write clearly and simply
organize information into a usable plan
build basic trackers and process documents
work independently with light direction
communicate well with clients and internal team members
stay practical and execution-focused
Best Fit
This is probably right for someone who has worked as a consultant, operator, project lead, implementation lead, or business operations person inside a service business.
We do not need a big-agency strategist. We need someone practical, sharp, organized, and useful. Someone who can think clearly, write well, and help move the work forward.
Compensation
$75-$100/hour depending on experience.
Flexible fractional work. We work 100% remote, but NYC-based is preferred because occasional in-person working sessions may be useful.
