The Peer Tutor provides academic support to undergraduate students by offering course-specific tutoring in subjects in which they have demonstrated strong academic performance. Peer Tutors work collaboratively with students to reinforce course content, develop effective study strategies, and promote independent learning. This position is designed for junior, senior or graduate level students who serve as positive academic role models while gaining professional experience in teaching, communication, and leadership.Not community service.

Location: Remote

Reports to: Chantelle Ferguson, Online Language Support Director

Pay Rate: $19.61 per hour

Work Schedule: Approximately 6 hours/week*

Federal Work Study schedules can work up to 20 hours per week*

*Federal Work Study work schedules may not conflict with the student's class schedule.

Length of Employment: The student's third year at Academy of Art University through graduation.
