Skillforce is seeking skilled Facility Maintenance Technician for work in the Huntington, WV area. Per diem is available for anyone traveling in for the job.
This position is well-suited for someone who takes pride in ensuring facilities and equipment operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in general maintenance, repair work, and troubleshooting across various trades
Facility Maintenance Technician Key Responsibilities:
• Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, injection mold machine and other industrial machinery.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly facility.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs, upgrades, or specialized services.
Facility Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in facility or building maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders or in confined spaces as needed.
Location: Huntington, WV
Pay:
• Up to $40 per hour
• $100/day per diem paid on all 7 days (if traveling in)
