As a Treasury Customer Service Representative – Unclaimed Property Reunification Specialist, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values integrity, transparency, and customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** As a Treasury Customer Service Representative – Unclaimed Property Reunification Specialist, you'll be responsible for: * Providing exceptional customer service in a call center environment, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner * Thoroughly researching requests, whether in writing or over the phone, to determine the rightful ownership of property consisting of cash, securities, and/or safe deposit box contents * Reviewing an assortment of legal documents, including probate court documents, wills, trusts, death certificates, and court orders, as well as a wide variety of informational paperwork submitted by claimants * Maintaining and ensuring the confidentiality of sensitive data, adhering to strict confidentiality protocols and guidelines * Collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide accurate information to customers * Staying up-to-date with changing policies, procedures, and regulations related to unclaimed property management **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you'll need: * A high school diploma or equivalent educational level * One year of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems (for Treasury Customer Service Representative 6) * Two years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems, including one year equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 (for Treasury Customer Service Representative 7) * Three years of experience responding to customer inquiries and resolving problems, including two years equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 6 or one year equivalent to a Treasury Customer Service Representative 7 (for Treasury Customer Service Representative E8) **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: * Experience working in a call center environment or customer-facing role * Knowledge of unclaimed property management, laws, and regulations * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities **Skills and Competencies** To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess: * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to provide exceptional service in a call center environment * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and customers * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues * Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and guidelines * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Treasury Customer Service Representative – Unclaimed Property Reunification Specialist at arenaflex, you'll have opportunities to: * Develop your skills and knowledge in unclaimed property management, laws, and regulations * Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex issues and provide accurate information to customers * Participate in training and development programs to enhance your customer service and analytical skills * Contribute to the growth and success of our team, working towards a common goal of reuniting reported properties with their rightful owners or heirs **Work Environment and Company Culture** arenaflex is committed to providing a positive and inclusive work environment, where employees feel valued, respected, and supported. Selected candidates must have a safe and appropriate designated workspace or workstation for performance of work and secure and sufficient internet access of commercial cable or wireless broadband with minimum speeds of 25 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position.
