**Job Summary:**
As a Student Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for patrons and guests, providing assistance with various questions and problems in customer service areas. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment, performing basic cleaning responsibilities, and enforcing facility policies. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your customer service skills, work in a dynamic team environment, and contribute to the success of arenaflex.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Greet patrons and guests, ensuring a positive and approachable atmosphere
* Assist customers with various questions and problems in customer service areas
* Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash, equipment, and laundry
* Special event set-up and operations
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies
* Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with patrons, staff, and faculty
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications or obtained within the first 30 days of employment
* BBP Certification obtained within the first 30 days of employment
* Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous customer service experience in a recreation or wellness setting
* Knowledge of arenaflex's policies and procedures
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull equipment as needed
* Basic first aid and CPR certification
